Ingredients
- 500 g 1.1 lbs ground chicken or turkey
- Cooked meats of your choice e.g., sliced cooked bacon, pepperoni, cooked sausage
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder onion powder
Instructions
- Preparing the Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken or turkey with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, add garlic powder, onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Forming the Base: Press the seasoned ground chicken or turkey mixture onto the bottom of the air fryer basket or onto a piece of parchment paper cut to fit the air fryer basket, shaping it into a round or rectangular base approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- Topping with Cooked Meats: Arrange your choice of cooked meats (e.g., sliced cooked bacon, pepperoni, cooked sausage) evenly over the ground chicken or turkey base.
- Seasoning: Season the toppings with any additional salt, pepper, or seasoning of your choice, if desired.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (356°F) for about 5 minutes.
- Air Frying: Once the air fryer is preheated, carefully place the meatza in the air fryer basket (if not already in the basket). Air fry the meatza for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the toppings are heated through.
- Serving: Once cooked, remove the meatza from the air fryer and let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve hot as a carnivore-friendly pizza alternative.
