Ingredients
- 200 g 7 oz pork belly, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 200 g 7 oz scallops, patted dry
- Salt to taste
- Metal or bamboo skewers soaked in water if using bamboo
Instructions
- Preparing the Ingredients: Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces. Ensure the scallops are patted dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Skewering: Thread the pork belly pieces and scallops alternately onto the skewers, ensuring an even distribution of both ingredients on each skewer.
- Seasoning: Season the skewers generously with salt, ensuring both the pork belly and scallops are seasoned evenly.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (392°F) for about 5 minutes.
- Air Frying: Once the air fryer is preheated, carefully place the skewers in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are arranged in a single layer with some space between them for even cooking.
- Cooking: Air fry the pork belly and scallop skewers for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time to ensure they cook evenly and develop a golden-brown exterior.
- Serving: Once cooked, remove the skewers from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving plate. Serve hot as a delicious carnivore-friendly appetizer or main dish.
