Bulgur is a whole grain made from cracked wheat. It is a traditional, staple grain in the mediterranean diet. Bulgur is low in fat, but high in plant-based protein, heart-healthy fiber, and minerals like iron, magnesium, and manganese.

Ingredients
- 1 cup of bulgur
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1 cup of water
Instructions
- Bring water and salt to a boil.
- Add bulgur.
- Cover and remove from heat.
- Let stand covered for 10-15 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork before serving.
- Add a few drops of olive oil to cooked grain to avoid clumping
