Keto Slow Cooker Beef Short Ribs
Ingredients
- 4 pounds boneless, or bone-in short ribs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1½ cup chopped onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1¼ cup red wine
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear half of the ribs at a time, making sure to season both sides.
- Place the short ribs into the slow cooker and cover with beef broth.
- Using the same pan you used to sear the ribs. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook until the onion is tender. Pour the mixture over the ribs in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours.
- Once the meat shreds easily with a fork, let cool and serve.
