Keto Slow Cooker Beef Short Ribs

Ingredients
  

  • 4 pounds boneless, or bone-in short ribs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • cup chopped onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • cup red wine

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  • Sear half of the ribs at a time, making sure to season both sides.
  • Place the short ribs into the slow cooker and cover with beef broth.
  • Using the same pan you used to sear the ribs. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook until the onion is tender. Pour the mixture over the ribs in the crock pot.
  • Cover and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours.
  • Once the meat shreds easily with a fork, let cool and serve.
