Ingredients
  

  • 24 oz minced beef.
  • 2 oz cheddar cheese (grated).
  • 6 bacon slices.
  • 1 onion (chopped).
  • 1 large egg (whisked).
  • 2 tbsp butter.
  • ½ cup thick cream.
  • 1 tsp salt.
  • 1 tsp black pepper.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven at 400 degrees.
  • In a large frying pan, melt butter and fry onions until softened.
  • In a large bowl, add the beef, fried onions, cheese, egg, cream, salt and pepper; mix well and shape into a loaf.
  • Place the loaf in an ovenproof dish and layer bacon across top.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes.
