Buffalo Chicken Dip
Ingredients
- 2 lbs about 900g chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 1 cup 240 ml hot sauce (ensure it’s carnivore diet-compliant or homemade with animal-based ingredients)
- 1 cup 240 ml cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup 120 ml sour cream
- 1 cup about 100g shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp 5 ml sea salt, or to taste
Instructions
- Cook and Shred Chicken: If not already prepared, cook the chicken breasts in the slow cooker with a bit of salt and water on low for 4- 5 hours until tender. Shred the chicken with two forks.
- Mix Ingredients: In the slow cooker, combine the shredded chicken, hot sauce, cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and sea salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Cook the Dip: Cover and cook on low for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the dip is hot and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve: Keep the slow cooker on the warm setting to serve the dip hot. Serve as is or with carnivore diet-compliant sides, such as pork rinds .
