Beef, Cauliflower, and Broccoli Skillet
Ingredients
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 onion diced
- 1 lb beef flank steak cut into small pieces
- 1 t dried thyme
- ½ head cauliflower cut into small florets
- ½ head broccoli cut into small florets
- 2 green onions chopped
- Sea salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the onion and sauté for 1 minute. Add the steak and thyme. Toss to coat the steak. Cook for 6 minutes, turning the steak pieces to cook evenly on all sides.
- Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside. Add the cauliflower and broccoli to the skillet. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, tossing occasionally, or until tender.
- Return the steak to the skillet. Add the green onions and season to taste with sea salt and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes, or until the steak reaches desired doneness.
