Beef, Cauliflower, and Broccoli Skillet

Ingredients
  

  • 2 T olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 lb beef flank steak cut into small pieces
  • 1 t dried thyme
  • ½ head cauliflower cut into small florets
  • ½ head broccoli cut into small florets
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and sauté for 1 minute. Add the steak and thyme. Toss to coat the steak. Cook for 6 minutes, turning the steak pieces to cook evenly on all sides.
  • Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside. Add the cauliflower and broccoli to the skillet. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, tossing occasionally, or until tender.
  • Return the steak to the skillet. Add the green onions and season to taste with sea salt and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes, or until the steak reaches desired doneness.
