Slow Steak and Peppers
Ingredients
- 1 large onion sliced
- 3 assorted bell peppers sliced
- 2 lbs flank steak sliced into strips
- 4 T coconut aminos
- 4 T beef broth
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 T rice vinegar
- 1 t sesame oil
- 1 t ground ginger
- ½ t sea salt
- ¼ t black pepper
- 2 cups cooked cauliflower rice for serving if desired
Instructions
- In a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker, add the onion, bell peppers, and flank steak.
- In a small bowl, add the coconut aminos, beef broth, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground ginger, sea salt, and black pepper. Pour the sauce over the beef and stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours or until meat is cooked through. Serve with cooked cauliflower rice, if desired.
