Ingredients

  • 4-6 chicken thighs
  • 8-10 chicken wings
  • Salt to taste
  • Paprika to taste (minimal, as per carnivore guidelines)
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Onion powder to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
  • Rinse the chicken thighs and wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Place the chicken pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack.
  • Season both sides of the chicken thighs and wings with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Adjust the amounts according to your taste preferences, keeping in mind the minimal use of non-meat ingredients in the carnivore diet.
  • Arrange the seasoned chicken pieces on the baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for about 35- 40 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Wings may cook faster than thighs, so keep an eye on them.
  • Optionally, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to achieve a crispy skin.
  • Remove from the oven and let the roasted chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Tip:

  • The minimal use of paprika, garlic powder, and onionpowder adds a touch of flavorwithout compromising thecarnivore principles.
