Pan-Seared Beef Liver with Lemon-Animal Fat Sauce
Ingredients
- 200 g 7 oz beef liver
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1 tbsp animal fat of choice such as tallow or duck fat
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Season the beef liver with salt, pepper, and any desired spices.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the liver. Sear for about 2 minutes per side or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- To make the sauce, melt the animal fat in a pan, add a squeeze of lemon juice, and whisk until combined. Serve the sauce on top of the cooked liver.
