Ingredients

  • 1.1 lbs about 500g ground lamb
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Skewers if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before use

Instructions

  • Preparing the Lamb Kofta Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb with salt. Mix well until the salt is evenly distributed throughout the meat.
  • Forming the Koftas: Take a portion of the lamb mixture and shape it into elongated meatballs, about 2-3 inches long. Thread the meatballs onto skewers, evenly spacing them out.
  • Preheating the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (356°F) for about 5 minutes.
  • Air Frying the Koftas: Once the air fryer is preheated, carefully place the skewered lamb koftas in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Cooking: Air fry the lamb koftas for 12-15 minutes, turning them occasionally, or until they are cooked through with a slight char on the outside.
  • Serving: Once cooked to perfection, remove the lamb koftas from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving plate.
  • Enjoy: Serve the delicious lamb koftas hot as a main dish or as part of a larger carnivore-friendly meal. You can pair them with a side of carnivore-approved sauce or enjoy them on their own.
