Keto Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy
Ingredients
Steak
- 2 pounds ground beef
- ¾ cup almond flour
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- ¼ cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried onion
- Salt and pepper
For the sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon bacon grease, optional
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup sliced yellow onions
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup beef broth
- ¼ cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375˚F.
- Combine all of the steak ingredients in a medium sized bowl and mix well.
- From the beef mixture into 6 oval patties, about 1-inch thick, and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Melt the butter and bacon fat (if using) in a large pan.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until golden brown (about 2 minutes per side). Add the onions and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.
- Add the broth and Worcestershire sauce, stir and cook for 2 minutes, stirring to scrape any bits off the bottom of the pan.
- Add the sour cream, stir well, and remove from the heat. Let cool and serve.
