Ingredients
- 2 beef heart steaks about 1/2-inch thick
 - Salt to taste
 - 2 tablespoons lard
 
Instructions
Prepare the Steaks:
- Pat the beef heart steaks dry with paper towels.
 - Season both sides generously with salt.
 
Sear the Steaks:
- Heat the lard in a skillet over medium-high heat.
 - Add the beef heart steaks to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the desired doneness is reached.
 
Rest and Serve:
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
 - Slice thinly against the grain and serve immediately
