Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups about 950 ml fish broth (preferably made from non-oily fish bones)
  • 1 lb about 450 g scallops
  • 1 lb about 450 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon about 5 ml salt, or to taste

Optional:

  • 1/2 teaspoon about 2.5 ml black pepper, or to taste (for those who include spices in their carnivore diet)

Instructions
 

  • Preparing the Broth: In a large pot, bring the fish broth to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  • Seasoning the Broth: Season the broth with salt, and if using, add black pepper. Adjust the seasoning to your taste preferences.
  • Adding the Seafood: Add the scallops and shrimp to the simmering broth. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the seafood is just cooked through and opaque. Be careful not to overcook the seafood to ensure it remains tender.
  • Serving: Once the seafood is cooked, carefully ladle the broth and seafood into bowls. Serve immediately while hot.
