Ingredients
- 2 lbs about 900g chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 cup 240 ml heavy cream
- 1 cup about 100g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp 5 ml sea salt, or to taste
Optional:
- 1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) garlic powder (for those who include spices)
Instructions
- Season Chicken: Place the chicken strips in the slow cooker. Season with sea salt and optional garlic powder.
- Add Cream and Cheese: Pour the heavy cream over the chicken. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Final Stir: Once cooked, stir the mixture to ensure the sauce is well combined and creamy. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve: Serve the Carnivore “Chicken Alfredo” hot, ensuring each plate gets a generous amount of the creamy Alfredo sauce.
