Carnivore Lasagna
Carnivore Lasagna is a hearty, meat-based twist on the classic lasagna, featuring layers of ground beef, pork, and sausage, all nestled between rich, cheesy layers. It skips traditional pasta, using thinly sliced meat instead, making it a perfect dish for those following a carnivore or keto diet.

Carnivore Lasagna
Ingredients
- 2 lbs about 900g ground beef
- 1 lb about 450g thinly sliced beef (such as sirloin), used as “noodles”
- 2 cups about 200g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup about 100g grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp 5 ml sea salt, or to taste
Optional:
- 1/2 tsp 2.5 mlgarlic powder and 1/2 tsp(2.5 ml) onion powder (for those who include spices)
Instructions
- Prep Meat Layer: Mix ground beef with eggs, half of the salt, and optional spices until well combined. Spread this mixture at the bottom of the slow cooker as the first layer.
- Add “Noodle” Layer: Lay slices of thinly sliced beef over the ground beef layer.
- Cheese Layer: Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the beef slices.
- Repeat: Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a cheese layer on top.
- Cooking: Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the meat is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serving: Let the “lasagna” sit for a few minutes after cooking for easier slicing. Serve warm.
