Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 pork chops about 450g or 1 lb total
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup 100g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (392°F) for about 5 minutes (or preheat to 390°F if using the imperial system).
  • Seasoning: Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Coating: In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, and garlic powder. Mix well. Dredge each pork chop in the Parmesan mixture, pressing down gently to coat both sides evenly.
  • Air Frying: Place the coated pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching each other. Cook in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the pork chops are golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
  • Serving: Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
