Keto Spinach Puree
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp lard or ghee
- 1 lb frozen spinach-drained
- 1 clove garlic minced
- Salt and fresh-ground black
- pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup Parmesan
- cheese
Instructions
- Remove the frozen spinach from the box and place it in a microwave-safe bowl for 1 - 2 minutes.
- Microwave the spinach for 1-2 minutes or until the spinach becomes soft.
- Drain the spinach in a colander.
- Grease the inner pot your Crock Pot with lard.
- Add the spinach, minced garlic, and salt and pepper into your Crock Pot; stir well. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours.
- Open the lid and stir cream and Parmesan cheese. Taste and adjust salt and pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Give a good stir and serve.
