Ingredients

  • 500 g 1.1 lbs ground beef or pork
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder onion powder, Italian seasoning, or any other herbs and spices of your choice

Instructions

  • Preparing the Meatball Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef or pork with salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, add garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, or any other herbs and spices of your choice for added flavor. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  • Forming the Meatballs: Take small portions of the meat mixture and roll them between your palms to form meatballs of your desired size. Ensure that the meatballs are uniform in size to ensure even cooking.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (356°F) for about 5 minutes.
  • Air Frying: Once the air fryer is preheated, arrange the meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them for even cooking. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the meatballs in batches.
  • Cooking: Cook the meatballs in the air fryer for 12- 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure they cook evenly on all sides. The meatballs should be browned and cooked through with an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  • Serving: Once the meatballs are cooked to perfection, remove them from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving plate. Serve hot as a delightful carnivore-friendly appetizer or main dish.
