Bacon Broth
Ingredients
- 2 T coconut oil
- 1 lb bacon diced
- 8 cups chicken bone broth
- 1 t turmeric
- 1 t dried basil
- ½ t curry powder
- 16 oz chicken diced and pre-cooked
Instructions
- Heat the coconut oil over medium heat in a large pot and cook the bacon pieces for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the bone broth and continue to simmer, then reduce the heat to low.
- Add the turmeric, basil, and curry powder. Simmer for 5 more minutes before adding the chicken, mixing thoroughly.
- When ready to serve, ladle the soup into bowls, and enjoy!
