Veal Osso Buco
Ingredients
- 4 veal shanks about 1 lb or 450g each
- 1 tsp 5 ml salt, or to taste
- Optional: 1 cup 240 ml beef or veal broth
Instructions
- Season the veal shanks with salt to taste.
- Add a small amount of beef or veal broth to the slow cooker for a moist cooking environment (optional).
- Place the seasoned veal shanks in the slow cooker.
- Cook on low heat for 8-10 hours, or until the veal is fall-off-the-bone tender.
