Simple Kasha with Onions and Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 yellow onion chopped or 1 bunch of scallions cut into 1-inch sections
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms button, crimini, shitake, etc
- 1 cup of cooked kasha
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add oil to skillet and sauté onions or scallions for about 5 minutes and then add mushrooms, stirring until golden brown and soft (about 10 minutes).
- Add cooked kasha, mix well with onions and mushrooms.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
