  • 1 Tbsp lard or butter
  • 2 green onion finely sliced
  • 2 pinch grated hot pepper or to taste
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 8 free-range eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp chopped dill for serving


  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the green on- ions for 2 - 3 minutes. Season it with the salt, hot pepper, and cumin.
  • Transfer the onion to your greased Crock Pot.
  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt and extra hot pepper if you like very spicy food.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the green onions in your Crock Pot.
  • Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley or dill and serve hot.
