Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Eggs:
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined. Season with a pinch of salt.
Create the Cheese Crust:
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the bottom of the skillet.
- Allow the cheese to melt and cook until it becomes crispy and golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the Eggs:
- Pour the beaten eggs over the crispy cheese layer.
- Cook until the eggs are set, about 2-3 minutes.
Fold and Serve:
- Carefully fold the omelet in half using a spatula.
- Slide the omelet onto a plate.
- Serve immediately
