Grilled Prawn Skewers
Ingredients
- 1 lb about 450g large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails intact
- 1 tsp sea salt
- Skewers if using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning
Instructions
- Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F (190°C to 205°C).
- Prepare the Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure they grill nicely. Thread the shrimp onto the skewers, piercing each shrimp through the tail and the thicker end to secure them.
- Season: Sprinkle the shrimp evenly with sea salt on both sides.
- Grill: Place the shrimp skewers on the hot grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are opaque and slightly charred, indicating they’re cooked through.
- Serve: Remove the shrimp skewers from the grill and serve immediately. Enjoy the juicy, flavorful shrimp as a standalone snack or part of a carnivore diet meal.
