Carnivore Chaffles (Cheese and Egg Waffles)
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder optional, for fluffiness
Instructions
Prepare the Batter:
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
- Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and baking powder (if using) to the eggs. Mix until well combined.
Cook the Chaffles:
- Preheat a waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Pour half of the batter into the waffle iron, spreading it evenly.
- Close the waffle iron and cook until the chaffle is golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
Serve:
- Remove the chaffles from the waffle iron and let them cool slightly.
- Serve warm. These can be enjoyed plain or used as a base for various toppings
