Carnivore Bolognese
Carnivore Bolognese
Ingredients
- 2 lbs about 900g ground beef
- 1 cup 240 ml beef broth (optional, for added moisture)
- 1 tsp 5 ml sea salt, or to taste
- 1 cup about 100g grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Optional:
- 1/2 tsp 2.5 ml ground black pepper (for those who include spices)
Instructions
- Brown Ground Beef: If not pre-browned, place ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until browned, seasoning with sea salt and optional black pepper. Drain any excess fat.
- Transfer to Slow Cooker: Move the browned ground beef to the slow cooker. If using, pour beef broth over the meat to add moisture.
- Slow Cook: Cover and set the slow cooker to low. Cook for 6-8 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the beef to become incredibly tender.
- Final Touch: Before serving, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts into the meat, adding a rich, savory flavor.
- Serve: Enjoy the Carnivore “Bolognese” as is for a pure carnivore diet meal.
