Turkey Meatloaf
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 small green bell pepper finely chopped
- ½ large onion finely chopped
- 2 T tomato paste
- 1 large egg
- 3 T grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ½ t dried sage
- ½ t sea salt
- ½ t black pepper
- ½ cup no-sugar-added ketchup
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, place all the ingredients except the ketchup. Mix the ingredients until well incorporated.
- Shape meat into a loaf and wrap in foil or place into a loaf pan that fits your slow cooker.
- Arrange the loaf in a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours, or until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the loaf registers 165°F.
- Serve topped with ketchup and parsley.
