Slow-cooked Philly Cheesesteak

- 2 lbs 900g thinly sliced ribeye steak
- 1 tsp 5 ml sea salt
- 1/2 tsp 2.5 ml black pepper (optional)
- 8 slices of provolone cheese about 200g
- 1/4 cup 60 ml beef broth (for added moisture, optional)
Instructions
- Place the thinly sliced ribeye steak in the slow cooker.
- Season the steak with sea salt and optional black pepper.
- Pour beef broth over the steak for added moisture (optional).
- Cook on low heat for 6 hours or until the meat is tender.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, lay slices of provolone cheese over the steak to melt.
- Once cooked, stir gently to mix the melted cheese with the meat.
