Shrimp and Bacon Skewers

Ingredients
  

  • 12 large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 6 slices of bacon cut in half
  • 1 tablespoon lard
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

Prepare the Bacon:

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the bacon slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 5-6 minutes until partially cooked but still pliable. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Wrap the Shrimp:

  • Wrap each shrimp with a half slice of the partially cooked bacon.
  • Thread three bacon-wrapped shrimp onto each skewer.

Grill the Skewers:

  • Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Brush the skewers with lard and season with salt.
  • Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are opaque and the bacon is crispy.

Serve:

  • Transfer the skewers to a serving plate.
