Keto Oopsie Flat Bread
Ingredients
- 3 eggs separated
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 3 ounces cream cheese softened
- Preferred herbs and spices to taste
- 2 ounces Parmesan grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300˚Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In two bowls, separate the eggs. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, mix together egg yolks, spices/herbs of choice, and cream cheese.
- Gently fold the yolk mixture into the egg whites (be careful not to break down the whites).
- With a large spoon, scoop the batter into a round pile (about 6 to 10 incheon the baking sheet.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until slightly golden brown.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool on a rack (flat bread will deflate slightly).
- Store your Oopsie Flat Bread in a loosely lidded container or in the refrigerator until you are ready to use.
- Lightly brush top of Oopsie bread with olive oil, and top with cheese and dark greens like spinach or arugula.
- Broil in the oven until cheese is melted and flat bread is slightly browned.
