Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound beef liver finely chopped or ground
  • 1 egg
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lard

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mixture:

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped beef liver, and egg.
  • Season with salt.
  • Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Form Patties:

  • Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

Cook the Patties:

  • Heat the lard in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the patties to the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.

Serve:

  • Transfer the patties to a serving plate and serve hot.
