Ground Beef and Liver Patties
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound beef liver finely chopped or ground
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons lard
Instructions
Prepare the Mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped beef liver, and egg.
- Season with salt.
- Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
Form Patties:
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.
Cook the Patties:
- Heat the lard in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the patties to the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
Serve:
- Transfer the patties to a serving plate and serve hot.
