Ingredients
- 225 g 8 oz trout fillet
- Ghee or clarified butter
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add ghee or clarified butter. Season the trout fillet with salt, pepper, and any desired spices.
- Pan-sear the trout for 3-4 minutes per side or until the fish is cooked through.
Optional:
- For cooking using butter, use 1 tablespoon butter.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the trout fillets to the frying pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
