Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers
Ingredients
- 1 lb 450g ground beef (80/20 mix for juiciness)
- 8 slices of bacon
- 8 small cubes of cheddar cheese or your preferred cheese, about 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) each
- 1 tsp sea salt
Optional:
- A pinch of ground black pepper or other carnivore-diet compliant seasonings
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.
- Season the Beef: In a bowl, mix the ground beef with sea salt and optional seasonings until well combined.
- Form Mini Burgers: Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a small patty. Place a cube of cheese in the center of each patty, then fold the meat around the cheese, rolling it into a ball. Ensure the cheese is fully enclosed.
- Wrap with Bacon: Wrap each mini burger with a slice of bacon, securing the bacon with a toothpick if necessary.
- Bake: Arrange the bacon-wrapped mini burgers on the prepared baking sheet or rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the beef is cooked to your liking.
- Serve: Let the mini bacon cheeseburgers cool for a few minutes before serving. Remove any toothpicks used for securing the bacon.
