Keto Sourdough Baguettes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • 1/3 cup psyllium husk powder
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • ½ cup flax meal packed
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 6 large egg whites
  • 2 large eggs ¾ cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • ½ tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 360°Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, egg whites, and almond milk.
  • Using an electric mixer, combine the dry ingredients with the egg mixture.
  • Add vinegar, lukewarm water, and lemon juice. Continue mixing until well combined (do not over-process the dough).
  • Using a spoon, form 8 baguettes on the baking sheet (these will rise, so make sure to leave some space between them).
  • Score the tops of the baguettes diagonally, and make 3 to 4 cuts.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 300°F and bake for an additional 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, and place the baguettes on a rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, slice and serve.
