Keto Sourdough Baguettes
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- 1/3 cup psyllium husk powder
- ½ cup coconut flour
- ½ cup flax meal packed
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 6 large egg whites
- 2 large eggs ¾ cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- ½ tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 360°Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, egg whites, and almond milk.
- Using an electric mixer, combine the dry ingredients with the egg mixture.
- Add vinegar, lukewarm water, and lemon juice. Continue mixing until well combined (do not over-process the dough).
- Using a spoon, form 8 baguettes on the baking sheet (these will rise, so make sure to leave some space between them).
- Score the tops of the baguettes diagonally, and make 3 to 4 cuts.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 300°F and bake for an additional 30 to 45 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, and place the baguettes on a rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice and serve.
