Preheat the oven to 375˚Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
In a saucepan over low heat, add mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Stir until the cheese is completely melted.
Add the melted cheese mixture to the dry ingredients, and stir until a dough begins to form
Add the egg, stirring it in until absorbed and well mixed. Allow the dough to cool enough to be handled.
Remove from the bowl and cut the dough into 8 equal pieces.
Place the knots at least 1 inch apart on the prepared, lined baking sheet. Lightly brush the tops with avocado oil.
Bake for about 15 minutes or until the tops are lightly golden. Remove from the oven, and set the broiler on high.
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine butter and minced garlic. Heat until butter is melted and garlic is fragrant.
Brush the garlic butter over the tops of the knots and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
Return the garlic knots to the oven and broil until golden brown on top, about 1 minute.
Roll each piece into a log about 9-inches long, and form into a knot-like shape.
