Herb-Butter Basted Pork Chop
Ingredients
- 1 pork chop 225g / 0.5 lbs
- 60 g / 2 oz butter
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Season the pork chop with salt. Melt half of the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the pork chop and sear on each side until golden brown, around 3-4 minutes per side.
- Add the rest of the butter, rosemary, and crushed garlic cloves to the pan.
- Tilt the pan slightly to pool the butter, and continuously spoon it over the pork chop for about a minute.
- This will infuse the pork chop with the flavours of the butter, rosemary, and garlic, making it more flavourful.
