Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lard

Prepare the Burger Patties:

  • In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated cheddar cheese, and salt.
  • Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  • Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape into patties.

Cook the Burgers:

  • Heat the lard in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the burger patties and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Serve:

  • Place each burger on a slices.
  • Serve immediately.
