Turkey Burgers with Cheese
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon lard
Instructions
Prepare the Burger Patties:
- In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated cheddar cheese, and salt.
- Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape into patties.
Cook the Burgers:
- Heat the lard in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the burger patties and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Serve:
- Place each burger on a slices.
- Serve immediately.
