Lamb Chops with Sauce
Ingredients
- 4 lamb chops about 1 inch thick
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon lard
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions
Prepare the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, combine the red wine vinegar, and honey.
- Whisk together until well combined.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Set aside to allow the flavors to meld.
Season the Lamb Chops:
- Pat the lamb chops dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides generously with salt.
Cook the Lamb Chops:
- Heat the lard in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the lamb chops to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
Rest and Serve:
- Transfer the lamb chops to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve the lamb chops.
