Butter and Coconut Oil Chocolate Bars
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup 120 ml coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 cup 113 g unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup 100 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup 60 ml honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
Combine Ingredients:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil and melted butter until well combined.
- Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.
- Stir until the mixture is smooth and all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Pour into Mold:
- Line a small baking dish or loaf pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Chill:
- Place the dish in the refrigerator and allow the chocolate to set for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
Serve:
- Once set, remove the chocolate from the dish using the parchment paper.
- Cut into 12 equal pieces.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
