Ingredients
  

  • lbs beef chuck steak cubed
  • 2 yellow onions sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 16 oz button mushrooms sliced
  • 4 1-oz slices nitrate-free bacon, cooked and diced
  • 2 t smoked paprika
  • 6 T tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 4 T sour cream optional

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients except the sour cream in a 6-quart slow cooker. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours.
  • Just before serving, stir in the sour cream, if using.
