Beef and Mushroom Pot
Ingredients
- 2½ lbs beef chuck steak cubed
- 2 yellow onions sliced
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 16 oz button mushrooms sliced
- 4 1-oz slices nitrate-free bacon, cooked and diced
- 2 t smoked paprika
- 6 T tomato paste
- 1 cup beef stock
- 4 T sour cream optional
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients except the sour cream in a 6-quart slow cooker. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours.
- Just before serving, stir in the sour cream, if using.
