Air Fryer Chicken Skewers with Butter

Air Fryer Chicken Skewers with Butter
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Wooden or metal skewers
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions
Marinate the Chicken:
- In a large bowl, combine lard, and salt
- Add the chicken cubes and toss to coat evenly.
Prepare the Skewers:
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 5 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread the chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a small gap between each piece for even cooking.
Cook the Chicken:
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place the chicken skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is fully cooked and has a slight char.
Prepare the Butter Sauce:
- While the chicken is cooking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Remove from heat and season with salt to taste.
Serve:
- Once the chicken skewers are done, transfer them to a serving platter.
- Serve immediately.
