10 Metabolism-Boosting Drinks To Transform Your Body

1.) Strawberry Oat Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 cup of strawberries
- 1/2 cup of oats (these)
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 1/4 cup of chia seeds
- 2 Tbsp. organic whey protein
Blend everything together, and enjoy the flavor and benefits of the drink.
2.) Green Tea Infusion
Ingredients:
- Prepare a cup of green tea.
- Add 1 Tbsp. raw honey.
- Add a pinch of cayenne pepper
- Add a tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
3.) Coconut Water Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup mango
- 1 cup kale
- 1/2 green apple
- juice from 1 lemon
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
4.) The Yerba Mate and Honey Elixir
Yerba Mate has the “strength of coffee, the health benefits of tea, and the euphoria of chocolate” all in one beverage. Of the six commonly used stimulants in the world: coffee, tea, kola nut, cocoa and guarana, yerba mate triumphs as the most balanced, delivering both energy and nutrition.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup yerba mate (brewed)
- 1 tsp. raw, unfiltered honey
Directions:
Brew Yerba Mate with 1 cup boiling water and 1 tea bag. Add 1 tsp. honey. Stir and enjoy warm.
5.) Lemon-Turmeric-Ginger Detox Drink
Most detoxification drinks for your liver involve a combination of ingredients that can help remove toxins and cleanse your system. Drinking lemon ginger turmeric tea is one of my favorite ways to start this process.
Ingredients:
- 1½ cups of filtered drinking water
- 1 teaspoon of fresh grated turmeric root (or ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder)
- 1 teaspoon of fresh grated ginger root (or ½ teaspoon of ginger powder)
- ½ a lemon (juiced with peel)
- 2 to 3 twists of fresh black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey or to desired taste
Directions:
To make your tea, combine the turmeric, ginger, and the filtered water in a saucepan. Turn the heat to medium-high and simmer for about 5 to 10 minutes. Do not let the mixture come to a boil. Strain the hot liquid and pour into a cup or mug. Stir in the lemon juice and honey. Your tea is now ready to drink.
6.) Green Juice
Ingredients:
- 1 green apple
- 1 cucumber
- 4 leaves of kale
- 1 handful spinach
- juice from 1 lemon
- 1/2 inch ginger root
Directions:
Peel the lemon and core apple. Add all ingredients through juicer and enjoy!

7.) Apple Cider Vineger Elixir
Drink first thing in the morning and before bed for a healthy digestive and immune system.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. purified water
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. raw honey (I use this one)
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
8.) Metabolic Smoothie
Ingredients:
- ½ cup blueberries
- ½ cup mango
- 1 heaping cup spinach
- Juice from ½ lemon
- ½ cup coconut water (my favorite)
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil, melted
- 15-20 grams of protein powder (this whey or this gelatin)
- ½ cup ice (optional)
Directions:
1.) Combine all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.

9.) The Perfect Cup of Coffee
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. of freshly brewed organic coffee
- 1 Tbsp. grass-fed butter or refined coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp. MCT oil (I like this one)
- pinch of cinnamon
Directions:
Add all ingredients to a blender and enjoy!
10.) Flat Belly Water
Ingredients:
- 6 cups purified water
- 1 Tbsp. grated ginger
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1/4 cup mint leaves
- pinch of sea salt
Let the mixture infuse overnight and drink the entire pitches the next day for endless energy and healthy digestion.
