Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fi llets about 6 oz. each
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp mustard
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh dill chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Place them skin-side down in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, mustard, lemon juice, garlic, and dill to create the sauce.
  • Generously brush the honey mustard sauce over the salmon fillets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets. Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

Tip:

  • If you prefer a thinner sauce, add a little water or extra lemon juice to adjust the consistency before brushing it onto the salmon.
