Instructions
In a slow cooker, add the butter, turkey, mushrooms, onion, water, sea salt, and black pepper.
Cover and cook on LOW for 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
After 2 hours, add the heavy cream and xanthan gum. Mix well. Cook for 1 hour, until the sauce is creamy.
Serve hot on its own or over cauliflower rice, if desired.
Garnish with the sliced green onions.
