Tofu Scramble

Ingredients
  

  • 1 block organic non-GMO tofu (typically 14oz)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½-1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ⅛-¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS:

  • Sauteed onion
  • Sauteed vegetables: broccoli Spinach, and zucchini work great
  • Additional spices: garlic paprika, cumin are all great choices.

Instructions
 

  • Drain the tofu and crumble it into a large mixing bowl.
  • Heat a deep skillet and add a splash of olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • If using onions, add to pan and saute until translucent.
  • If using other vegetables, add them to the pan and saute until nearly tender.
  • Add tofu and spices and mix until well combined and cook medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Stir occasionally.
