Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large saute pan over mediumhigh heat.
Add tofu and season with sea salt and pepper (a generous pinch of each is usually plenty).
Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tofu is golden brown and slightly crispy.
While the chicken or tofu is cooking, make the sauce by whisking together all sauce ingredients.
Once tofu has browned, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and broccoli, and stir to combine.
Continue cooking for another 3 minutes, until the broccoli is bright green.
Stir in the tamari mixture, and cook for an additional minute until the sauce has thickened.
Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
