The Quick and Easy Morning Wellness Shot

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lemon
  • ¼ teaspoon powdered turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon powdered ginger
  • Pinch cayenne pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cut a lemon in half and use a simple lemon squeezer to collect the juice.
  • Spoon ¼ teaspoon of powdered turmeric, ¼ teaspoon of powdered ginger and a pinch of cayenne pepper into a small glass.
  • Pour the lemon juice over the spices, stir to suspend the powder in the liquid and drink immediately.
  • While this is the easiest shot, it’s not the tastiest. If you’re willing to put a little more effort in, there are ways to make it more pleasant.
