- 2 lbs about 900g mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, crab meat, and/or fish pieces)
- 4 cups about 1 liter fish or seafood broth
- 1 tsp 5 ml sea salt, or to taste
Optional:
- 1/2 tsp 2.5 ml cayenne pepper or other spices (for those who include spices)
Prepare Seafood: For shrimp, peel and devein. Cut fish into bite-sized pieces.
Season and Combine: Place the seafood in the slow cooker. Season with sea salt and optional spices. Pour the fish or seafood broth over the top, ensuring all the seafood is covered.
Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, or just until the seafood is cooked through. It's important not to overcook the seafood to prevent it from becoming tough.
